I was born and raised in Greece, suprised? I had what they call a “normal life”, a full-time job that was enough for me to live from day to day, waiting every weekend to repeat the same cycle, and so on…
When the crisis of 2008 exploded I was able to keep my job, but they reduced my salary. Basically I worked the same for less and as you can imagine I lived from day to day, I fantasized about changing my lifestyle, living in a van and traveling, but at that time that was an unattainable dream.
I was aware that there were other alternatives, but the fear of making mistakes and leaving my comfort zone paralyzed me. That’s how I spent 10 years (I know it’s crazy) until I had to face a new crisis in my life, this time as a couple (but don’t worry, this isn’t one of those melodramatic stories! ).
I will only say that after ending a relationship of more than 8 years, I was left with nothing. This situation was very shocking because among with all the previous frustrations, it created a perfect storm that turned my life upside down. Nothing made sense, but instead of moaning and having a hard time for another decade, I decided to take action. I decided to use all of that as the fuel that drives my new life.
